Abe’s 17 Second Rule
To use the 17-second rule effectively, you must focus on a desire for 17 seconds without any contradicting thoughts (such as doubt or worry), as this is the "combustion point" where the thought gains enough energy to attract more like minded thoughts.
Example: Manifesting a Specific Career Opportunity
Imagine you want to manifest a new, high-paying job that aligns with your passions.
Step 1: Get into a High Vibration (0–5 seconds): Start by thinking of something unrelated that makes you feel good—like a favorite pet or a beautiful sunset—to clear away any immediate stress or resistance.
Step 2: Choose Your Core Focus (5–17 seconds): Bring the specific desire into your mind. Instead of thinking "I hope I get that job," imagine the feeling of already having it. Visualize yourself sitting at your new desk or receiving an email saying "Welcome to the team!".
Step 3: Hold the Focus (The 17-Second Mark): By the time you reach 17 seconds of pure focus, you will feel a shift; the thought will feel more real and "spark" more similar ideas. You might start thinking about the great colleagues you'll have or the financial freedom the salary will provide.
Step 4: Amplify to 68 Seconds (Optional but Recommended): If you can hold this uninterrupted focus for four consecutive 17-second intervals (68 seconds total), the manifestation momentum becomes significantly more powerful, equivalent to thousands of hours of physical action.
Step 5: Trust and Release: Once you finish your focus, let it go. Do not immediately look for "results," as checking for its absence creates resistance. Trust that the Universe is now assembling the "cooperative components" in your Vortex.
