DO YOU REACT & REGRET OR PAUSE & RESPOND?

Here's the thing my friends, you want to get REALLY GOOD at hitting the PAUSE BUTTON when faced with an UNWANTED EXPERIENCE, CONVERSATION or BEHAVIOR in another person. Instead of KNEE JERK REACTING you want to put some space in between the SITUATION and your RESPONSE to it. You want to LEAN BACK in your seat, take a couple DEEP BREATHS, and then CHOOSE your RESPONSE. You see it's not the EXPERIENCE that matters, it's how you RESPOND that matters. It's YOUR STATE OF BEING that matters and it's your ability to UNDERSTAND that EVERY EXPERIENCE has VALUE and BENEFIT, no matter how UNWANTED it may APPEAR. So instead of REACTING and REGRETTING, you want to PAUSE and RESPOND in CLARITY and JOY. You want to take your FOCUS OFF anything that DOES NOT FEEL GOOD and place it solely and completely on ANYTHING that DOES FEEL GOOD!
